I don't look down on Malaysian Malays, and neither do I hold
Singapore Malays in high esteem. There are both success stories and
dysfunctional failures in the Malay race regardless of what
nationality they hold. For me to look down on Malaysian Malays as a
whole would be to fall into the trap of stereotyping.
That said, to put it bluntly, I look down on Malays (be it SG or
MY) who think that the world owes them a living and laze on their
asses while they wait for the world to give it to them. They are
the ones who give the Malay race a really bad name.
